Engineering II is building on the skillsets learned in Engineering I. Engineering II is a more in depth course that allows students a deeper understanding into engineering and design. .This course utilizes students' understanding of the Engineering Design Process and helps them create more complex products. Students will gain mastery of several 3-D modeling softwares, and understand the best way to manufacture an object. One of the standout features of this course is the Authentic Learning Projects. Students will undertake real-world challenges such as designing a ukulele, custom chess set, a self driving car and many more. These projects not only cultivate a deep understanding of design principles but also foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a tangible connection to real-world applications. By the end of the Engineering I, students will have a robust portfolio that showcases their skills, creativity, and their ability to transform ideas into functional designs.
